About Me

I have an AAS degree in Music & Sonic Arts, along with 7+ years of experience producing and over 3 years of experience performing fully live with modular synthesis.

I started producing in Ableton, initially working entirely in the box. About a year in, I got my first Eurorack modules and started incorporating them into my Ableton workflow, mainly using them for sound design and experimentation.

After three years of producing, DJing, and experimenting with modular, I built my first fully modular live set and performed it for the first time. I completely fell in love with it and switched to being a modular-only performer on the spot.

Since then, I've continued developing my modular live practice while still using Ableton as a major part of my production process. My studio work now combines the two much more heavily, with modular becoming an integral part of how I create sounds, sequences, textures, and finished tracks.

What We Can Work On

Modular Synthesis

I get a lot of questions about Eurorack systems, and this is something I really enjoy helping people with.

Sessions can cover:

• Choosing modules for a specific goal
• Designing or refining a system
• Signal flow and patching
• CV, gate, and clocking
• Sequencing
• MIDI ↔ modular integration
• Routing and mixing
• Getting more out of the modules you already own

The goal is to build a system that makes sense for how you want to make music, rather than simply accumulating modules.

Modular Live Performance

I've spent years developing and performing live modular sets, and can help you build a setup and workflow that works in a real performance environment.

We can work on:

• Designing a live setup
• Preparing a modular system for performance
• Sequencing and control
• Routing and MIDI integration
• Building transitions and movement
• Creating variation within a set
• Preparing stems from Ableton for performance
• End of chain processing
• Troubleshooting potential live performance problems

Production & Ableton

I have extensive experience working in Ableton and can help you work through specific production or technical challenges in your projects.

Sessions can include:

• Arrangement and structure
• Sound design and processing
• Working with hardware and modular alongside Ableton
• Synthesis and sound creation
• Layering and resampling
• Modulation and experimentation
• Developing techniques you can apply to your own sound and workflow

Mixing & Track Feedback

Bring me a track you're working on and we'll listen through it together and break down what's working and what could be improved.

I can give detailed feedback on:

• Balance and frequency relationships
• Dynamics
• Arrangement
• Sound selection
• Processing
• Overall mix clarity and translation

Rather than just giving you a list of things to change, I'll explain what I'm hearing and why, so you can start recognizing these things in your own mixes.

How It Works

Sessions are €100 / hour and are held online or locally in Rotterdam.

Before your first session, we'll have a free 15-minute discovery call where we can discuss what you're looking to learn, what you're currently working on, and how I can best approach the session based on your experience and goals.

You can come with a specific question or problem, a track you want feedback on, a modular patch you're working on, a live setup you're developing, or simply a project you'd like another experienced set of ears and eyes on.
